Our goal at Glasscity419 is to help local businesses grow, as well as help out aspiring local talent. A semi-annual Talent Fund has been created to help give local talent a boost. I remember times in college where I did not have a laptop, and had to go to the computer lab to get projects finished. I recall playing in bands, and not having money to record. There were friends of mine who enjoyed photography, and had a real talent, but could not pursue their passion full time due to financial issues. What we are aiming to do with our Talent Fund is to give individuals an opportunity to pursue their dream. We would like to award a photographer a check to get studio space so they can continue on their road of doing what they love on a daily basis… Every band deserves to hit the studio and record what they have created… Every Artist should have the platform to be seen. In my opinion, one of the saddest things in life is wasted talent. With this fund, we hope to help people develop their love and passions, and help them continue to pursue their dreams. We ask that you please consider donating to this great cause, so that we can see individuals flourish and help grow the great talent we have in our local area.
